Every little bit is a step to help save the earth.
1. Change to CFL, LED lights - If every house in the India changed all of the light bulbs, tubes to CFLs or LED lamps we would never have load shedding.
2. Hang Outside to Dry - Get a cloths line or rack to dry your cloths. Your cloths will last longer and you will save money. Dont use the dryer 100%
3. Turn off computers at night - don't just put them to sleep. Switch them off.
4. Use Both Sides of Paper - if you have a printer with a double sided print option use it. You will save half of the amount of paper you would have normally used. Then when your done bring it to the recycle bin.
5. Get rid of baths, take showers - Don't take baths, take showers. You will in average save about half the amount of water that you would if you were taking a bath.
6. Don't get bottled water - Instead of bottled water get a reusable container to carry water. Also you can get a filter to make your home tap taste more like bottled water. It is definitely more cost efficient.
7. Turn the water off when you brush - Your parents have said this before, now I say it. You will save 4 gallons of water doing this alone.
8. Shorten your shower - Every minute you cut from your shower is roughly 5 gallons of water. The less time your shower takes, the lower your impact on the environment.
9. Recycle Glass - If you do not recycle this, it will take a million years to decompose.
10. Dont use Thermocol dishes, glasses, plates etc. Use bio degradable items at party and functions.
11. Use Warm or Cold Setting on Washer - instead of the hot cycle use the warm or cold setting. This will save a lot of energy a year.
12. Turn off your lights , fans, ACs - An easy one. Turn off your lights when you are not using them. The benefits are obvious.
13. Get rid of junk postal mails - There are many services that can help you get rid of junk mail. That will lead to a lot less trees being cut down to take up room in your mailbox.
14. Use Matches instead of lighters - Lighters are usually considered disposable so they will most likely end up in land fills. You can use the cardboard matches which are much more eco-friendly because they are made of recycled material.
15. Don't get a paper directory - Instead of getting a paper phone book. Use a online directory instead.
16. Give things away - Take things that you are not going to wear or use and give it to a charity or someone who will use it.
17. Go to a car wash - Going to a car wash is a lot more water efficient then washing your car at home.
18. Stop paper bank statements - Why waste paper getting your bank statement mailed to you when you can just check it out online.
19. Buy Rechargeable Batteries - Even though it will take a good investment to buy these you will find yourself gaining it back in no time.
20. Pay your Bills Online - If every house in the US did this then we would save 18 million trees every year.
21. Send or receive Electronic Invoices: If you are in business, do not generate paper invoices. Send Electronic invoices instead.
22. Pay Slips: Unless required, do not provide paper based pay slips. Email the Pay slips to your staff,

Pre-Upgrade testing processes
Software upgrades are released frequently by various
software vendors. while each vendor follows their own
testing procedures prior to release of any upgrade,
they cannot test inter-operability issues between various software.
For instance a new release of a database may be tested by the
Database vendor. However the impact of deploying this release
on a production system running various other FTP, Mail, Web
Server software cannot be directly determined. Our system
administration team documents the impact analysis of various
software upgrades and if any of them are perceived to have
a high-risk, they are first beta-tested in our labs before
live deployment.

Network
The datacenters are connected to the internet through Gigabit Ethernet connections
from separate backbone providers, who each run fiber optic cables into the data
center through separate entry points.
Security
To guard against line failure or intrusion, the data center is staffed 24 hours a day.
Movement throughout the facility is escorted at ALL times. There is 24x7 closed
circuit monitoring of all areas and entrances. Between the cameras, access control,
and the security team, the datacenter facilities are pretty secure.
Power
The total incoming power is a multiple of what is required to run the datacenter.
There is an ATS (Automatic Transfer switch) in place to automatically kick in a
generator in case of a power failure. The datacenters are also equipped with
redundant UPS systems to ensure clean power.
Cooling
Redundant A/C systems, each running at a fraction of their capacity,
keep the server rooms cool. The units are alternated so that each one
